Responsibilities of a Mobile Service Technician:
- Work the majority of the time in the field responding to service calls
- Coordinate with the service manager to manage the field-based service schedule and customer calls
- Clearly communicate with Service Manager, Service Clerk, Sales Representatives, Customers, Field Representatives, DTAC, and other Technicians
- Generate additional mobile service business, supporting the growth of the service business through excellent service and support in the field
- Perform complex diagnostics and repairs on agricultural equipment including both new and existing Ag Management Solutions (AMS) products on location for customers
- Has a strong understanding of how to use Service Advisor, regularly submits well-prepared DTAC Cases, and instructs peers on how to utilize Service Advisor and submit well-prepared DTAC Cases
- 5+ years of experience performing service repairs
- Ability to work efficiently and in an organized manner to meet deadlines
- Expert knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems used in the repair of agricultural equipment
- Proficient computer skills
- High School Diploma & Associates degree or equivalent experience required
- Valid driver's license required and fork lift certification preferred
