We are looking for an Inside Sales Representative to join our Service Team on our journey for a better tomorrow.

Your role

Your mission as an Inside Sales Representative is to perform assigned duties in accordance with Quincy Compressor standards, while always striving to understand the needs and expectations of the customer.

Your success in this role is determined by your ability to take whatever action is appropriate and required to get the job done, and to establish and maintain communications with all people/employees considered necessary. You will report to the Service Sales Manager.

  • You will answer customer calls and emails to identify, quote, and sell service, replacement, and aftermarket parts.
  • You will prepare Quincy and Non-Quincy quotations and enter/submit orders.
  • You will respond to customer inquiries or questions in a prompt, professional and courteous manner.
  • You will expedite customer orders and serve as the primary liaison customers and suppliers, providing updated order availability/delivery information.
  • You will maintain all paperwork and ensure POs, orders, quotes, etc. are maintained to ensure prompt customer follow-up and compliance with company procedures.
  • You will follow up on quoted leads to close sales opportunities.
  • You will process credit approvals.
  • You will initiate invoicing for orders.
  • You will help with collections and credit disputes.
  • You will promote aftermarket parts, preventative maintenance and extended service plans.
  • You will perform outbound and cold calling to existing and potential customers to generate new sales.
  • You can work overtime, as required.
To succeed, you need
  • You have a high school diploma or equivalent, relevant technical experience, or college degree.
  • You have two years of relevant sales support experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • You have experience in the compressor/ HVAC industry.
  • You are sales-focused and motivated to achieve monthly goals.
  • You can resolve customer issues over the phone.
  • You can read manuals, parts lists, bills of materials, or technical drawings.
  • You have experience in multiple programs including Salesforce, BPCS and others.
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, and Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets)
  • You can travel by airline--nationally and internationally.
