Position Specific Description
As the lead analyst, you will oversee regulatory compliance and business management functions as well as supervising others in the coordination of deliverables associated with the Northeast and Canada Regional Transmission Organizations ('RTO') and Public Service Commissions ('PSC').
Key Duties & Responsibilities
• Ensures Transmission Operating Company compliance across all levels of regulatory authority, including localized contracts with any involved stakeholders.
• Manages the coordination, execution and delivery of regional-specific (NYISO, ISO-NE, PJM, IESO, PSC) regulatory compliance items as well as supporting the development of NERC, FERC, Financial and Environmental compliance fillings, rate cases and regulatory proceedings.
• Responds and acts as the singular point of contact for associated RTO's and oversight commissions as it relates to any operating business deliverables including, but not limited to, compliance items but also including interconnections and ancillary contractual obligations.
• Actively monitors changing regulation that may impact reporting obligations, and socializes those changes across relevant business units.
• Assists in the development of regulatory strategy across stated rate and formula rate approaches, including existing assets and those in development/onboarding.
• Develops and maintains credible and professional relationships with outside stakeholders and regulatory authorities, as well as internal customers across NEER and FPL.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Location: Clifton Park/Albany, NY or Juno Beach, FL headquarters preferred.

• Assists in coordinating the representation of organization's interests before state regulatory and legislative bodies or industry standard setting committees
• Influences rules and procedures
• Provides guidance to less experienced regulatory affairs analysts
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications

•Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience

The estimated base pay for this position is $104,000.00to $156,000.00per year. Starting pay will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, experience, qualifications, job-related and industry knowledge and skills and education/training.
