Purpose:
The Technical Assistance Field Team (TAFT) Supply Warehouse Instructor is part of the Ministry of Peshmerga Forces Logistics Training Support program which trains Peshmerga forces on various logistical and provide shoulder to shoulder training on military warehouse management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to fulfill each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Responsible to provide tactical level Supply Warehouse Management training (level I) and sustainment training (level II and III) for fielded/available Peshmerga warehouses to
enable Peshmerga Trainees to achieve Level I through Level III proficiency. - Responsible for developing and delivering training to the Peshmerga Forces on warehouse operations , forklifts and crane operations with the assistance of an interpreters. This training will include but is not limited to accountability, inventory, ordering, tracking, issuing, storage, quality control, and loss prevention. This warehouse training will include warehouse cranes, forklifts and safety training.
- Responsible for designing and delivering training programs on Office 365 applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel), SharePoint, and other administrative tools in a confidential and secure environment.
- Responsible for Developing course materials, manuals and other educational content that is clear, accurate and tailored to the audiences.
- Conduct needs assessments to tailor training according to the needs of the Peshmerga organization and individual's roles.
- Facilitate learning through a variety of delivery methods including classroom instruction, virtual training and on the job coaching.
Qualification & Experience Requirements: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 years' related experience required.
• Prior military experience is preferred.
• US Army 90A, 92A or civilian equivalent preferred. Previous Army base instructor Course.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a NACI
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.
• Must have the ability to analyze and interpret U.S. Army Technical Manuals with relation to supply warehouse operations.
• Prior instructor experience preferred. Prior instructor experiences training foreign military forces with interpreters is highly desired.
