The base salary range for this position is dependent upon experience and location, ranging from: $83,804.80 - $104,756

Responsibilities:

Role of Lead Analyst Financial & Operations Management is to lead financial and operational plan development and analysis for Networks Operations. Consulting with senior leadership to determine business goals or initiatives ensuring Networks Operations success. Collaborate with all levels of the Operations organization to develop efficiencies and assist with overall day to day financial and operational requirements. Fundamentally increase profitability, deliver value, and inform decision-making. The candidate needs to be able to work cross-functionally within Operations, other Networks areas and corporate areas. Besides the ability to analyze and understand all aspects of operational and financial performance, it is important for the candidate to present great communication skills to contact and transmit clear messages with all leadership team levels. This position will also work in planning, developing, hosting, and presenting company events.

MAJOR ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Scope of work - range of responsibilities):

Performance management team drives performance improvement of OpCos and Service Centers by defining, approving, and monitoring the most relevant indicators for the electric business. The team also provides high level financial assessment on the month basis for NOE performance discussion. Additionally, the team is responsible for organizing and maintaining engagement with the forums & meetings in which Operations leaders discuss performance.

Besides the meetings to discuss performance, the team also implements in person events, in which the leadership team discuss strategic projects and are provided with development opportunities. It is part of Operations Management role, to connect with business leaders to develop the agenda for the events, host and present the event, as well as make sure everything is in place for the events to be successful.

  • Seek for performance improvement on the management/divisional level, by driving analysis and process/action plan development aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Develop, manage, and enhance metrics to track Networks Operations performance. Identify trends, produce ad-hoc analysis as needed, and proactively engage with functional senior management to support greater enterprise value creation.
  • Guarantee definition, consolidation, and registration of action plans by the business areas for underperforming KPI's and execution of defined action plans.
  • Annually lead collaborative effort with Operations Leaders to define strategic KPIs, their targets and accountability across the board by defining the targets and by establishing action plans.
  • Schedule, define the agenda and host performance meetings, and follow-up on objectives.
  • Develop the agenda, participate and present in person meetings throughout the year with leadership team to discuss objectives, share strategic updates and provide development opportunities.
  • Develop NOE budget for two Lines of Business in Operations, partnering with budget owners, monitor actuals, perform budget revision, and monitor monthly variances. Guarantee that every initiative/budget/review will be communicated properly to leaders and impacted employees.
  • Develop and approve networks overtime budget. Create a framework to review and audit overtime variances. Communicate variances with Business leaders.
  • Support the team in providing all operations NOE analysis.
  • Proactive approach to overseeing work measures progress and takes actions to ensure budgets and deadlines are achieved.
  • Considers innovative ways to undertake work, promoting automation and efficiencies in day-to-day work streams.
  • Attendance to Executive management meetings, providing and presenting performance reports views as required.
  • Develop data sets and ad-hoc reporting generating insight and predictions to optimize performance
  • Definition and implementation of action plans to guarantee financial and operational target accomplishment
  • Act as liaison between Operations functional areas and corporate areas. Build and maintain mutually beneficial relationship.
  • Provide general support to Networks Operations functional areas. Help shape and implement effective financial and operations strategy.

Education & Experience Required
  • Bachelors' Degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience preferred.
  • Or Associates Degree with a minimum of 7 years relevant experience or High School Diploma or Equivalent and 10 years relevant experience required.
  • Proficiency with SAP fundamentals and processes preferred.
  • Proficiency in Excel and power point is required. Other Microsoft applications skill will be valued.
  • Knowledge of Networks Operations will be valued.
  • Experience in formulation of business cases.
