Job Type: Officer of Administration Bargaining Unit: Regular/Temporary: Regular End Date if Temporary: Hours Per Week: 35 Standard Work Schedule: Building: Salary Range: 62,400-78,600 The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Position Summary The Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Columbia University is seeking an Administrative Coordinator to provide general support for the leadership, staff and researchers of the Cardiovascular Institute Research Program. Responsibilities Coordinate the development and maintenance of outreach materials to be used with potential donors to fund the programs initiatives. Establish and maintain communication with an interdisciplinary team, including researchers, clinicians, engineers, and biologists. Schedule meetings in support of research programs, labs and initiatives. Manage meeting agendas, and maintain meeting documentation. Liaison with communications team to establish and maintain website. Organize educational seminars, symposiums, and research training. Provide operational support for the research team including ordering lab/office supplies, equipment and IT and facilities needs. Maintain monthly and quarterly financial recap of budget and other financial activities. Provide administrative support for grant applications (Biosketch and Other Support, Facilities and Resources, and Equipment, and PMC-compliant Bibliography updates) and publication submissions. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor???s degree required or equivalent in education and experience Other Requirements Proficient with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
