Job Description:
E xercise planners are key components in the organization's strategy to improve cyber preparedness and reduce risk. Cyber Exercise Planners contribute to the training and coordination between various cyber security organizations and the bank's lines of business. The planner will design, execute, and facilitate cyber-focusedexercises to identify opportunities for improvement to the bank's strategic framework. They will work with key partners to design threat scenarios, identify participants, and execute the exercise against the planned scenarios.
Responsibilities:
Planners will be expected to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment to design multiple exercises based on a rolling 12-month forecast. Planners will receive broad exposure across multiple organizational units and levels of leadership. Applicants should have a proven track record of being able to navigate successfully across organizational lines.
Desired Skills:
- Problem Solving: The ability to draw upon past knowledge and experiences to find a solution and define a path of action
- Cybersecurity proficiency: Basic knowledge of cyber security threats, issues, and security controls
- Facilitation: Ability to manage a large virtual audience and guide a planned exercise to accomplish established goals and objectives
- Communication: Effective written and oral communication skills in both group and individual settings
- People skills: Comfortable collaborating with various levels of management to effective plan an exercise
- Data Capture & Analysis: Ability to quickly assimilate complex discussions to identify and capture risk
- Risk Management: Understanding of risk management concepts

This job is responsible for assessing the bank's technologies, applications, and overall security controls to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities that may impact Bank of America's information security. Key responsibilities include developing a better understanding of Bank of America's Global Information Security policy and relevant cyber security threats to complete security assessments. Job expectations include developing technical subject matter expertise to support partners, and adapting testing methods to emerging cyber security regulations and evolving threats.
