Supply Chain Analyst - Military Veterans

The Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for assisting with support of the team in the areas of promotions, new items, and special requests from their assigned concept(s).

The Supply Chain Analyst is a hybrid position which will require the candidate to report and work from the office a minimum of 2 days a week. Therefore, interested candidates should be within a 50-minute radius from Rocky Mount, NC.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS / PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Other duties may be assigned. A teammate in this position must have the ability to:

  • Build and develop relationships with peers and others to assess client needs, exchange feedback on service issues, identify and solve problems, share best practices to achieve business results.

  • Coordinate concept promotions to ensure successful execution

  • Monitor promotion performance and coordinate after promotion activities related to inventory depletion

  • Coordinate new items between concept and Concept Services team

  • Assist Supply Chain Manager in customer satisfaction and proactively address service issues

  • Model McLane values and foster a supportive environment

  • Utilize their understanding of inventory management, inventory profitability, and customer service to analyze financial opportunities and mitigate risk.

  • Play instrumental role in training/coaching new hires and current staff in account planning and servicing.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
A teammate in this position must:

  • Have a Bachelor's degree (preferred), Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Distribution or related field.

  • 2+ years plus of focused experience in establishing, managing, selling and delivering on customer expectations

  • Have strong commitment to customer satisfaction and loyalty.

  • Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong financial skills and business acumen

  • Ability to influence others.

  • Strong spreadsheet/database skills preferred.

  • Be able to quickly and effectively learn new systems.
