Job Overview



We are recruiting a position for Electrical Board Assembly to support assembly of mining products in our Gillette, WY facility.  



Key Job Responsibilities





  • Responsible for the assembly of electrical boards by using templates or reading measurements, examining connections fastening/soldering parts and subassemblies.


  • Assistance with troubleshooting of assemblies.


  • Maintain equipment and work area on a daily basis in a clean and orderly conditions.


  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency.


  • Minimize rework by closely following work scopes and manufacturing operation procedures.


  • Ability to identify, organizes, estimate, and recognize differences or similarities with excellent attention to detail.


  • Must be able to read and understand electrical and mechanical schematics.


  • Ability to use a wide range of diagnostic and functional tools and specialty instruments.


  • Use of trades mathematics, together with the use of complicated drawings, specifications, chart, tables, handbook formula; all varieties of precision measuring instruments.


  • Ability to define problem, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.


  • Learn new technology as it relates to technology products as they are developed.


  • Ability to work in a team environment.


  • Other duties as assigned.




Qualifications/Requirements





  • Equivalent to complete accredited apprenticeship in a recognized trade, craft or occupation; or equivalent to a 1 year technical college education.


  • AAS with motor controls, circuit’s installations, read and understand schematics, PLC’s, Digital Drives and general troubleshooting.


  • Ability to communicate information clearly and directly to co-workers and supervisory personnel both verbally and in writing.


  • Must be able to maintain a flexible work schedule to include day shift, night shift, weekend, and holiday assignment as well as day and overnight travel.


  • Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and physical job requirements.

The Komatsu North America Mining Distribution and Service group is a critical part of our Komatsu global organization.  We, sell, install, service, provide parts and rebuild equipment, as well as provide digital solutions for our customers.  In the United States, we have a presence in 16 states across the US with 30 primary sites.  We have approximately 1,200 employees.
