Manufacturing Technician - Military Veterans

In this role, you will help create critical, multi-million-dollar equipment for the semiconductor industry. For over 30 years, the company has produced technologies supporting advanced computing, data center storage, mobile devices, and LED technology. Their equipment is integral to the products you use every day.

The company assists its customers in overcoming significant and complex technical challenges. Their equipment and technology are used to manufacture advanced semiconductors, LEDs, displays, photonics, power electronics, compound semiconductors, hard disk drives, and other chips.

Responsibilities:

You will be part of the complex process of assembling manufactured systems and sub-systems on the manufacturing floor. Using your electro-mechanical troubleshooting skills, you will help build these incredible machines before they are installed at customer locations. Your work is solely local, with no travel required. If desired, there is a potential path to grow into a Field Service role.

Due to the complexity of the systems, training is conducted through a step program. In this program, you learn core areas/processes and then graduate to other aspects of the assembly process. This training program takes 12-24 months to complete. The company ensures proper training and support, avoiding throwing people into the fire without preparation.

Shift details:

Afternoon shift: 230pm to 11pm, Monday through Friday

Opportunities to volunteer for Saturday work

Overtime is available daily after 8 hours of work

Initial training: First shift (630am to 230pm) for the first three months

Who you are:

You are a military veteran with exceptional electro-mechanical knowledge. The systems you will work on require electronic troubleshooting experience and mechanical systems knowledge. You should be proficient with multimeters and schematics, understand electronic troubleshooting, and have mechanical knowledge of torque wrenches. You are a capable troubleshooter who is technically curious.
