Job Type: Officer of Administration Bargaining Unit: Regular/Temporary: Regular End Date if Temporary: Hours Per Week: 35 Standard Work Schedule: Building: Salary Range: $62,400.00 - $64,000.00 The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Position Summary The Division of Geriatric Psychiatry is looking for a full time Research Coordinator who will be primarily responsible for assisting in the coordination of all research activities for various clinical trials within the Division. Responsibilities Assist in the coordination and implementation of all protocols assigned, including accountabilities such as: scheduling study assessments/procedures and participant interviews; organizing participant source documents, chart and study specific materials; ordering supplies; coordinating and accompanying participants to procedures (LP, MRI, PET). Provide administration of neuropsychological tests and symptom rating scales. Assist in participant recruitment. Manage data entry and management. Conduct biospecimen collection and processing (blood and CSF). Manage completion of regulatory submissions for the NYSPI IRB. Performs sub-site monitoring. Conducts screening and obtains informed consent. Communicates with IRB and Sponsor. Checks completeness of data. Performs related duties and responsibilities as assigned/requested. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and experience. Preferred Qualifications 1-2 years of previous experience working in clinical research. Prior experience in clinical trials preferred. Ability to communicate effectively within a large cross functional study team. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to handlesensitive information with a high level of discretion and integrity. Other Requirements Must successfully complete all online systems training requirements.
