Field Service Engineer - Military Veterans

The leading global manufacturer of coding and marking solutions is looking to add Field Service Engineers to their rapidly growing organization. With more than 400,000 units installed worldwide, the organization covers all major technologies, including continuous and thermal inkjet, laser, thermal transfer overprinting, and case coding. Their products and services allow customers to apply variable data such as best-by date, production date, lot number, and operator information as well as linear and 2D barcodes, to virtually any kind of product packaging, industrial part, or pallet.

The primary purpose of this position is to provide customer service for the customer base in an assigned territory or region. This requires daily travel to and from customer sites to install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair printers and coding equipment.

The individual accepting this role would need to demonstrate a demeanor that aligns with core behaviors, including but not limited to a customer service mindset, technical aptitude, administrative and professional communication skills.

The individual in this role must seek to learn and continuously improve upon the skillset needed to meet and exceed customer needs and expectations in their region, thus accelerating the growth of service agreements and service revenues.

Key responsibilities:

- Comply with all safety regulations and reporting requirements to help ensure the safety of all associates and others that you work with or around daily

- Grow revenues through superior service and attainment of contract agreements

- Routinely follow up to ensure that customer expectations are exceeded by closing or escalating all outstanding issues

- Contribute to a teamwork atmosphere by demonstrating core behaviors

- Expense management and timely completion of expense reporting

- Management of trunk inventory

Base salary, $65 - $75K. They offer a 401k, medical, dental, life, and vision coverage, PTO, a 3k sign on bonus, and tuition reimbursement.
