The Physical Sciences Division in the School of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) at the University of Washington Bothell (UW Bothell) seeks multiple dynamic educators who have expertise in teaching for Part-Time Lecturer Temporary appointments beginning in the Academic Year 2024-2025. Successful candidates will have a demonstrated commitment to effective pedagogy, have expertise in working with diverse student populations, and are open to collaborating with colleagues. Compensation is $6,000 per course equivalent over a three-month quarter. The base salary range for this position is $6,000 per month, prorated based on amount of full time effort (FTE) determined by number of credits taught, and commensurate with experience and qualifications, or as mandated by a U.S. Department of Labor prevailing wage determination. Appointments are renewable on a quarterly basis, and are contingent upon instructional needs, part time faculty reappointment guidelines, and Division approval. Current enrollment is approximately 5,800 students, with over 95% of undergraduates from Washington State.
