Marine Electronics Technician - Military Veterans

The Maritime team is looking for multiple veterans to fill the Marine Electronics Technician (MET) positions in the Seattle office location. As a MET, you will be responsible for new equipment installations, including radar, VHF Radio, and GPS.

Duties and responsibilities:

- Perform repairs, installations, and maintenance of navigation and safety systems on commercial vessels

- Monitor and evaluate customers' electronic equipment

- Operate diagnostic systems, specialized tools, and test equipment, such as multimeters, watt meters, and so on

- Perform diagnostic analysis on customer components and systems

- Compile logs, reports, and maintenance documentation for customer billing and personal payroll submissions

- Read and interpret electronic drawings

- Follow all safety rules and wear PPE at all times

- Maintain a safe and clean work environment

- All other duties as reasonably assigned

Qualifications:

- Two (2) years experience (preferred) as an electronic technician maintaining or repairing equipment on commercial vessels or heavy equipment

- FCC GMDSS maintainer's License (preferred)

- Must have own primary set of hand tools to start

- Strong working knowledge of electrical safety standards

- Must have reliable transportation

- Must have a willingness to embrace and live the core values of the company

Base salary, $70 - $90K full benefits, specialty tools provided, PTO, and per diem when traveling.
