Job Description:

Budget/Financial Analyst

Support mission-critical initiatives and enable the growth of our business as a Budget/Financial Analyst supporting the ATLAS contract under Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) International Operations (IO) programs. Here, you'll become an integral part of how GDIT is able to ensure the safety and security of our nation by making a meaningful impact on the IO mission.

HOW A FINANCIAL ANALYST WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Performs financial analysis and reporting in order to monitor finances associated with business operations
Coordinates with ATLAS/GDIT and IO leadership to provide data driven analysis, strategic planning, trend, and mission analysis and reporting to enhance IO missions around the world
Assists with reporting to IO leadership, resource management, addresses ad hoc and special taskings, and identifies opportunities to enhance and improve the various IO mission tasks, and more.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or Accounting, or closely related field and a minimum of two (2) years of specialized experience in business, finance, economics, or accounting.
Required Experience: Briefing, educating and informing senior management and staff on Federal budgets for Senior Government Officials.
Required Technical Skills: Advanced MS PowerPoint presentation development for federal law enforcement. Advanced MS Excel/data manipulation Programming language in a federal law enforcement environment. Familiarity with Tableau, LucidChart, and Microsoft Office Suite tools (to include future agency versions).
Security Clearance Level: Must obtain and maintain a favorable background investigation for access to sensitive but unclassified information.
Required Skills and Abilities: Conversion of accounting and financial data into standardized reporting. Coordinating with domestic and overseas government personnel on federal apportionments and agency appropriations. Managing multiple deliverables under extreme time constraints and adopting to changing environments.

The likely salary range for this position is $57,866 - $78,200. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
