Summary:
In this role, you will partner with stakeholders to design, implement, and optimize financial processes and systems. You will use both technical aspects and business acumen to streamline foundation-wide business processes, primarily using Workday and related applications. You will ensure seamless integration with other business applications, systems, platforms, and IT infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Elicit business requirements and translating them into functional and non-functional technical requirements. This includes options analysis, solutions design, story writing, test planning, and change management.
- Recommend and establish objectives to measure success, leveraging data to identify areas for improvement.
- Execute COE people practices, prioritize tasks, and achieve project milestones.
- Identify communication channels, systems, and resources needed for implementation.
- Design effective practices within your expertise, staying current with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Understand Agile delivery, software development lifecycle, and project management processes.
- Interact with vendors, conducting reviews, exchanging data, and communicating needs.
- Assist in developing Request for Information (RFI) templates and support senior leaders in the Request for Proposal (RFP) process.
- Provide recommendations for people practice objectives, support their execution, and generate reports to identify objective achievement issues.
- Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, and Workday team members to gather business requirements and automate accounting processes using relevant systems.
- Gain insight into how customers utilize technology for their competitive advantage and applies this knowledge to suggest areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Relevant degree preferred.
- 5 or more years of relevant experience with Workday required.
- Workday Financial experience is required.
- Knowledge of custom fields, calculated fields, and business processes required.
- Ability to respond to changing demands, priorities, procedures, and technology.
- Knowledge and/or experience with Workday integrations is desired.
- Workday HRMS experience is a plus, but not required.
- Experience with performing mass data updates using Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) is a plus but not required.
- Advanced computer proficiency with associated programs such as word processing, email, spreadsheet, and project management.
Estimated Hiring Range:
At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $102,400.00 to $168,800.00.
This position is also incentive eligible.
