We are looking for a talented Support Specialist Electrician to join our team specializing in troubleshooting, assembling, installing, testing, and maintaining electrical systems using all necessary tools to keep equipment available and capable for our location in Seymour, IN.


In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:




  • Troubleshoots, assembles, installs, tests, and maintains electrical systems using all necessary tools to keep equipment available and capable.


  • Learns and understands the protocols of working safely with electricity and other energy sources with industrial equipment.


  • Performs work in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and specifications using various tools, measuring, and testing instruments.


  • Fully proficient in performing troubleshooting, electrical repairs, and maintenance of equipment.Conforms applicable codes and standards to maintain, install and operate electrical systems.


  • Participates actively with local Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) teams in ways to improve quality, safety, process, material flow, and employee development.


  • Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) - Learns and understands the protocols of working safely with electricity and other energy sources with industrial equipment. Stop work and immediately report any work-related injury, illness, incident, or hazard.




Compensation and Benefits


Base salary rate commensurate with experience. Additional benefits vary between locations and include options such as our 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan, Cash Balance Pension Plan, Medical/Dental/Life Insurance, Health Savings Account, Domestic Partners Coverage, and a full complement of personal and professional benefits.


RESPONSIBILITIES


To be successful in this role, you will need the following:




  • High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.


  • Six years of experience OR an Associate's degree with two to four years of relevant experience OR a Trade certificate with six years of relevant experience OR Department of Labor certification.


  • Knowledge of Servos, Spindles, and Microns (ultra-precision)


  • Experience with VFD Drives


  • Prefer Allen Bradley & Siemens PLC programming/troubleshooting knowledge


  • Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude


  • Ability to read Schematics and blueprints


  • Strong troubleshooting and installation background


  • Ability to work schedule – 2 nd Shift, Mon – Fri, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM with mandatory and voluntary overtime based on the needs of the facility.


  • Pay rate starts at $31.00/hr with an additional $1.50/hr. Shift differential. $1500 SIGN-ON BONUS




QUALIFICATIONS


Education, Licenses, Certifications


High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.


This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Associate’s degree with two-four years of relevant experience OR


Trade certificate with four years of relevant experience OR


Six years of relevant experience OR


Department of Labor certification.


Must pass all related testing.


Experience


Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.


Able to read electrical blueprints, PLC ladder logic troubleshooting preferred. Knowledge of CNC machines preferred
