Marine Fleet Maintenance Engineer - Military Veterans

As a Marine Fleet Maintenance Engineer, you will maintain and repair company vessels, using various hand tools, precision instruments, and portable machines. You will develop long-term maintenance plans, submit annual repair requests, and oversee shipyard repairs and modifications. Your responsibilities include repairing marine diesel engines, reduction gears, and auxiliary machinery, interpreting technical drawings, and troubleshooting AC/DC electrical systems. You will also assist in bid evaluations, develop service requisitions, and ensure compliance with USCG UTV Sub-chapter M regulations. Proficiency in maintenance programs, CAD, Microsoft Office, and strong communication skills are essential.

- Military veteran with experience in marine equipment skills

- Diesel equipment skills

- Experience with hydraulics and electrical systems

- 4 years working on marine equipment such as a ship, submarine, or other vessels

Base salary, $65 - $75K

2.5%annual bonus

2 weeks PTO negotiable

Travel will be on a weekly basis and returning home every weekend. Rotation schedule is 3 weeks traveling to the site (home on weekends) and 1 week working from home, daily meal allowance ($42.00/per workday), lodging, and transportation are provided by company.

Travel: 17 days on site location and 11 days off at home

This position is exciting as you can live anywhere you want to in the country as long as you are within driving distance of an airport. You also are going to have long periods of time off at a single time.
