Finance Manager- Americas Reporting

The Opportunity 

Responsible for consolidating and reporting for GPN Americas and managing the budget and forecasting process. Role reports into Americas Reporting Senior Finance Manager.

- Perform in-depth financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and sensitivity analysis, to identify key drivers of financial performance and provide insights to support decision-making

- Responsibility for compiling the month end review deck that is presented to Senior Leadership every month. Provide key commentary and insights to prior period performance as well as details on the latest outlook for future performance.

- Manage and mentor a team of financial analysts, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Provide training and development opportunities to enhance the team’s skills and capabilities.

- Review weekly consumption report in preparation for weekly review with Americas finance team and before distribution to wider Senior Leadership Team. Work with cross-functional partners to ensure data integrity and accuracy of reporting.  

- Lead the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting cycles, ensuring alignment with business goals and strategic objectives as well timely submission to Global Group Finance function.

- Work closely with other departments, including Operations, Sales, and Marketing, to provide financial insights and support reporting requests as and when needed.

- Respond to ad hoc requests for financial data and analysis from senior management and other departments. Provide quick, accurate financial insights to support decision-making processes.

- Lead the utilization of new digital capabilities and leverage/tailor output reports that can replace any manual reporting that is carried out to free up more time to focus on value add/strategically important projects/initiatives. 

The Skills you will bring to the team 

- Bachelor's Degree: Finance or Accounting

- Experience: 5-7 years of relevant experience in Big 4 auditing / consulting or financial planning, analysis, and management. Prior experience in a CPG industry is a plus

- Certifications: Professional certifications such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant),

- Strong skills in financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting.

- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and experience with SAP financial planning software

- Solid understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

- Proven leadership abilities and experience managing a team.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

- Ability to think strategically and contribute to business planning
