Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Contracts/Commercial Manager to join our team! In this role you will get to play a key role in the mobilization and execution of our major projects and programs, in the kingdom.

  

What You'll Be Doing:

• Provide short term / long term cover for open positions on projects throughout the Kingdom.

• Interact with Project Directors and Lead Commercial personnel to identify and mitigate potential issues

• Ensures that all team members apply company and / or project practices, techniques, processes and procedures.

• Update and revise project / program procedures in regard to commercial and technical requirements, development and compliance with best practices.

• Assist in the continuous improvement of contract processes through refining contract formulation activities, systems and procedures.

• Claims – help projects as required to evaluate and recommend claims, including the calculation of losses.

• Formulate strategies to resolve Contract and Commercial issues.

• Provide advice regarding contract procurement and types of underlying contracts and agreements (as necessary).

• Assist in the preparation of legal and contractual documents such as; Request for Proposals (RFP) and other legal or contractual documents.

• Collaborate with colleagues across organizational lines to obtain and communicate business information necessary for Reporting purposes

• Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate

 

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• A Bachelor degree in a subject related to Commercial Management (Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering required preferred)

• A minimum of 12-15 years of relevant post degree work experience (pre & post qualification) 

• Recent experience in a commercial role, including managing of teams

• Good at working on own initiative 

• Ability to guide staff, critique and challenge objectively and with confidence.

 

 What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Experience developing successful relationships at a senior level

• Direct experience interfacing with executive management and clients.
