Join our dynamic Global Information Security team in safeguarding Bank of America's information systems, confidential data, and customer information. As the Cyber Threat Defense Cloud Control Specialist, you will play a supporting role in the modernization and development of the Bank's Cyber Threat Defense Controls, specifically related to Network, Malware and Intrusion Defense, as well as Cyber Threat Intelligence, Simulation and Replication, with co-development of the overall strategy in partnership with stakeholders, management of the operational business playbooks, monitoring & reporting of controls adherence, and supporting regulatory, audit & compliance queries. In this role, strong technical and business acumen will be utilized to support secure, risk-based practices for all lines of business within Bank of America ensuring Cyber Threat Defense protects the bank's Customers, partners and employees. Responsibilities:
As an individual contributor, you will:
• Design and implement Cyber Threat Defense processes to enhance security, ensure compliance and automate governance across applications and infrastructure.
• Development and management of policies, standards, processes and playbooks to meet business, security, regulatory, legal and compliance requirements, objectives and goals.
• Build business requirements to drive innovation with internal and public cloud integration of Cyber Threat Defense related practices.
• Evaluate and implement solutions to strengthen access controls through automation, data enrichment and enhanced mechanisms, ensuring company protection.
• Support programs and initiatives to modernize overall practices, processes and related technologies.
• Collaborate across organizations units and management levels, utilizing technical and business acumen to support secure practices within broadly defined practices and policies across all businesses.

Required Skills
• Deep experience advising strategies related to Network, Intrusion and Malware Defense on premises and in public clouds (Azure and/or AWS)
• Individuals that are results orientated, business focused and successful at interfacing across multiple organization units, at various management levels.
• Knowledge/experience/exposure with information security topics, including the design, development, testing, implementation and governance of information security practices and solutions.
• Motivated, adaptive learner with a deep understanding of a wide range of technology applications, platforms, and tools.
• Ability to identify, analyze and address problems to resolve issues leveraging approaches that minimizes negative impact and risk to the business operations.
• Analytical / problem solving / conceptual thinking skills.
• Skills with influencing partners, senior management, peers and subordinates through an inclusive style that recognizes their abilities and knowledge.

Pay and benefits information

Pay range

$152,200.00 - $220,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
