Adjunct Assistant Professor, Greek and/or Roman Material Culture University of California Los Angeles Requisition Number: JPF09358 The UCLA Department of Classics is authorized to appoint an Adjunct Assistant Professor specializing in Greek and/or Roman Material Culture. Duties: The successful candidate will teach 4-5 courses per year over three quarters, maintain an active research agenda, and participate in departmental activities and service; the ability to teach Greek or Latin at an intermediate level or higher is desirable, though not essential. The effective date of appointment is July 1, 2024, and the initial appointment is for two years, with the possibility of renewal for a third year. The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. The salary range for this position is $74,600-$97,200. See Table 1 ( ). 'Off-scale salaries', i.e. a salary that is higher than the published system-wide salary at the designated rank and step, are offered when necessary to meet competitive conditions.
