The Boeing Company is currently seeking experienced Electronic Maintenance Infrastructure Technicians to join the teams in Auburn, Renton, Seattle, Kent, SeaTac, Tukwila and Puyallup.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing installation, service, maintenance, upgrades, and modification of process equipment, alarm systems, fire panels, cranes, radio frequency (RF) systems, tank lines and waste treatment plants.

Position Responsibilities:
- Use technical knowledge, existing procedures (or develop new procedures), and internal/external resources to diagnose and correct equipment or system malfunctions
- Modify, test, calibrate, and document system configurations to meet compliance requirements
- Use various types of computing systems or electronic/electrical test equipment to test accuracy of electronic/electrical components/systems
- Work with Management, Engineering, equipment manufacturers, vendors, and other organizations to analyze and make recommendations on facility and equipment design requirements, capability, and improvements
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 3+ years of experience in electronics or electrical troubleshooting
- Experience conducting inspection & testing of fire protection equipment (Building Sprinkler Systems, Fire Extinguishers, Fire Alarm Systems, Code/Policy violations, etc.)
- Ability to take and pass Fall Protection training and perform work at heights up to 125 feet about ground level with appropriate safety gear
- Willing to work overtime if needed
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Experience troubleshooting programmable logic controllers (PLC)
- Experience troubleshooting alternate current (AC) and direct current (DC) drives, variable frequency drives (VFDs), servo systems, and/or fire panels
- Experience reading electrical schematic diagrams
- Experience in electrical and/or electronic design (including: AC Power Distribution, DC Power Distribution, Current Flow Networking, Motor Controls, Ground and/or Bonding)
- Possess an electrical/electronic technician degree
- Technical experience in manufacturing processes associated with electronic and microelectronic components
- Critical thinking, verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working with safety and quality processes and procedures

This is an hourly position governed by the International Association of Machinists (IAM-751) Collective Bargaining agreement.
