Faculty - Computer Engineering / Electrical Engineering - Military Veterans

Have you ever considered sharing your Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering expertise with a group of highly motivated students who are passionate about furthering their education? Join our team of engineering faculty who have continued to grow the program since its inception in 2017. Classes for these programs are offered on the Dunwoody Campus during the day.

Here at Dunwoody, we strive to match PASSION with PURPOSE. We do that by searching for industry experts to teach our students through first-hand experience. To teach in Dunwoody's Electrical Engineering (EENG) and Computer Engineering (CENG) programs, candidates need to have at least their Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering, or a closely related degree.

New to higher education? We have you covered. Through our individualized and responsive new faculty orientation, you will learn the principles of effective instruction including how to develop curriculum, identify how your students learn best, and become acclimated to the overall culture of teaching on our campus. You also have the option to further your credentials through Dunwoody's tuition reimbursement program.

What we expect from you is a passion for your industry you can share with your students and a determination to provide the best educational experience to the next generation of makers, fixers, and doers.

What You Will Get To Do:

  • Participate in EENG/CENG recruiting events such as
    • Open Houses
    • High School Events
    • Pathways to Careers (P2C) program
  • Design and develop curriculum that follows industry trends
  • Flexibility to help design new curriculum and shape program direction
  • Create exciting labs and lectures that captivate your students
  • Share your personal on-the-job experiences in industry
  • Network with other professionals & build ties to industry projects
  • Share your passion and excitement for electrical and computer engineering with prospective students and their families


Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related major
  • 5+ years of professional industry experience
