Serve as a multi-functional member of the patient care team under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). Support the RN staff through regularly organizing and facilitating two or more functional roles of the patient care plan of which may include the following: Nurse Technician, Unit Secretary, EKG Technician, and Monitor Technician. Accurately and promptly communicate with the nursing staff, patient, family, and patient care team as required.

X High school diploma or equivalent X Required

Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Required Skills
Licensure and Certifications:
Must be licensed in the state of Georgia as a C.N.A., Medical Assistant, or be currently enrolled in an accredited school of nursing with successful completion of "Fundamentals of Nursing" or EMT certification.
Basic Life Support required
Certified EKG or ECG Technician (CET) preferred
Minimum Work Experience
Three or more years of patient care experience, preferably in a hospital setting
